Northern Chile - Oustanding Vacation

 


In the valleys of the Andes the cultures and the traditions of the inhabitants have been kept alive. Each week you can experience horse races and rodeos.

 


Only 27 km from our Hacienda are the historic Indian caves of Pichasca. The national park offers nice hiking trails and petrified forests.

 


Romantic coastlines, lonely bays and small fishing villages you can find in this region. the fishmarket in Coquimbo, just 3 km from La Serena, is unique and you should taste one of the delicious fish dishes there.

 


In the centre of the Andes in northern Chile is our Hacienda. Welcome to a remote place off civilisation, of course with comfort and personal hospitality in our Hacienda.

 


Here in the valley of Río Hurtado, where we are now, the people live in harmony with nature. It is no surprise that many women travel by themselves, and northern Chile is known for being a safe travel destination.

 


Crystal-clear skies at night during more than 310 days per year. Only 1 1/2 hours from the Hacienda there is the observatory Mamalluca. Breathtaking views through the telescope. We organize an excursion there for you.

 


from the Hacienda it takes almost 4 hours by car to a beautiful nature park, called Isla de Damas. Seals, penguins, dolphins and hundreds of birds can be watched there.

 


The Andes offer fascinating games of colours every day. On our hiking trails in our nature reserve you can explore the nature yourselve, enjoy the silence and observe the wildlife.

 


Within the view of the Hacienda we have an Inca trail. We organize riding excursions - also for non-riders .- along these trail with antique rockpaintings.
