DOMINGO - the youngster

 


Domingo is our youngster - just 40 days young. Near La Serena - just 55 min flight from Santiago - is our hacienda and we offer our well trained horses for your horseback riding vacation in Chile.

Now, in Dec.2003, the "small boy" is 14 months old and get slowly a activ stallon.

 


Domingo 4 years now old.

 


Our sure-footed Criollos provide any rider, regardless of experience, with a safe and exciting adventure. Soft and comfortable saddles with sheepskins, saddlebags, riding helmet and an introduction into our riding-style are the perfect way to begin a ride.

 


The Hacienda and horseriding tours is run by the owners. Manuela Paradeiser from Vienna, who has travelled by horseriding in 12 countries and has trained horses for 22 years. And together with Clark Stede from Berlin , both have 13 years Chile – experience and guided with the legendary Criollos more than 6000 guests through the Andes on horse back. They still run the Hacienda like a farm and make you immediately feel like a member of the family. If you’ve stayed in a resort hotel before,

Domingo, the five years horse out of our breed, in on trail in the Andes. He his completely trained on the base of Natural Horsemanship. He don’t know pain, force or bad experience of humans. And now he goes with Manuela and our valuable guest in the Andes – but with out a bit.

 


Bridle with out bit, but not a Hackamores. This bridle has two leather strings inside, so with a light pressure on the rains the head will be moved. Where the head goes the horse follows, the “steering” is easy and free of pain. Painless means no pressure, no pressure means good partnership and very safe riding.

 


For a long test period Manuela ride Domingo with out a bit, even on difficult trails. The experience shows a wining position: freely breeding, trust to the rider, good performance and harmony.
