Experience this fascination yourself looking at the stars trough the lense of an observatory telescope.
The trip through the Andes to Vicuña is very scenic
After your stay at the Hacienda (optional also after our program Isla de Damas) scenic drive through the Andes to the nice and small colonial city of Vicuña. You can visit the Pisco distillery while going for a walk and discover the archeological museum and the centre of the town. Dinner around 7:30 p.m. Early evening you start your trip to the observatory Mamalluca (30 km from Vicuña). The tour through the observatory lasts about two hours, including the use of a telescope yourself to check out the clear deep space. Overnight in a nice hotel in Vicuña.

Breakfast in your hotel in Vicuña. Depending on your departing flight from La Serena airport or another connecting program (e.g. our program Isla de Damas) we will pick you up with our private transfer from your hotel. The journey from Vicuña to La Serena takes approximately 50 minutes.
