The Traveller's Experience - For riders and
beginners

At 1:00 pm, we pick you up from the Plaza or from your hotel in Vicuña or Ovalle. It takes us two hours to the Hacienda passing the wild mountainous landscape. Discover wildly romantic places to swim along the river, pick exotic fruit, or relax under the olive groves. You may also pick some wild herbs for a tea. For the preparation of the meals we use fresh ingredients that come from local and our own cultivation. After dinner, we enjoy the rest of the day in the garden under a starlit night sky and have a glass of Chilean red wine.
At about 9:30 am, we start preparations for the Andean riding trip. Our German, English and Spanish speaking team acquaint you with the riding horses, the riding style and any safety precautions. At about 10:30 am, we start climbing the Andes leaving behind the Sierra Morrillos. Crystal-clear air allows magical views far down the valleys of the Andes. There will be enough time to take pictures and a picnic is served in the shade of the ancient Algarobo trees. At about 3:00 pm, we are back at the Hacienda in the green valley of Vado Morrillos. There will be enough time to have a wash or a swim in the river before you return at 4:00 pm to Vicuña or Ovalle passing the wild mountain scenery on the Scenic-Drive.

SERVICES:
Transfer to Hacienda Los Andes and back from Ovalle or Vicuña. One overnight stay in the rooms of the Hacienda, any meals, picnic is served during riding trip. Any facilities of the Hacienda such as nature trail and river access (Sauna, jakuzzi not included in price). Riding trip accompanied by English, German and Spanish speaking guides. Equipment for riding trip: Sombrero head, riding gaiters, comfortable Gaucho-saddle, ice box, safety helmet, first aid kit and saddlebags for your camera etc., and finally one of our well trained Chilean mountain horses.
