The Hacienda Los Andes is a gate to the wilderness of the Andes. It is a cosy and comfortably equipped outdoor centre and lodge, easly reached from La Serena. There are thirteen beds of different categories available at this 1000 acres estate. After an adventurous trip - all outdoor activities can be booked online - , our guests are invited to relax in one of our gardens, or they can let their soul tangle and enjoy the fantastic view of the stars at night.
The Hacienda owns six comfortable colonial style guest rooms: each one with a private bathroom and a garden with a view into the Andes. 310 sunny days per year, an extremely versatile nature and the crystal clear air are an invitation to spend unforgettable days in the Andes. The starry nights and the unspoiled wilderness offer you vacations close to nature and pure relaxation and recreation.
Service and Activities
We offer our guests the abundance of our 1000 acre nature reserve with it's 11 kilometers of hiking trails and a sunny palm garden for relaxing hours and of course - exclusively for our guests - access to our 3 kilometers of lush river banks with romantic bathing places.
Furthermore we put a wide range of activities and excursions at your disposal: horseback riding, trekking in the Andes, mountain biking and many more activities - which can all be arranged on site.
Hacienda los Andes means enjoying peace and nature. Enjoy the peaceful and quaint atmosphere of our far-off Andes valley. Enjoy best local cuisine, selected chilean wines, traditional architecture and culture.
For our cuisine we only use local products of traditional cultivation, that we obtain directly from the small farmers of the Río Hurtado valley. Feel free to visit these friendly and open people in search of delicious fruits, cheese and vegetables and contact to the local folks.
