Day trip
During this trip, the off-road vehicle carries us into the wilderness of the Andes. In the past, these remote places could only be reached with old cattle tracks, by foot or with a horse. We see little mountain villages, pass riders with their cattle, experience the magical mountain scenery of the Andes and plateaus from where you can overlook the country as far as 250 kilometers. Services: trip accompanied by German and English speaking guide, picnic, cool soft drinks.

THE CAVES OF SAN PEDRO
Day trip
Let us show you the Indian caves of Pichasca which is an old Indian place of ceremony. Here, you can find the oldest traces of human settlement in this region. Furthermore, you can look at fossilized Araukarien (trees) and fossils of various prehistoric dinosaurs such as the tyrannosauros rex. Trip accompanied by German and English speaking guide.

VINEYARD TABALI

We will visit the exclusive winery Tabali, which is located next to the famous Vale del Encanto / Ovalle - a magical place where history and culture of the Molle and the Diaguita come together. The final degustation will convince you of the special taste of the Tabali wine.

VICUÑA - RUTA ANTAKARI
Day trip
Discover the "Ruta ANTAKARI" with us! During this tour we will drive along the breathtaking pass between Hurtado and Vicuña and visit one of the many pisco distilleries in the Pisco Elqui Valley (with tasting). Afterwards you can go shopping for souvenirs at the handcrafts market and enjoy a local produced icecream.

HACIENDA HIKING
By foot you can discover the wonderful surrounding of our 500 ha Hacienda area. We built two different trails, the Sierra and the Valley trail and two more special extension trails, one goes up to an old Goldmine and the other one leads you to the upper Sierra passing the impressive mountain Cerro Gigante. On the well marked trails you have the possibility to learn something about typical Chilean plants, which can be used to heal diseases. We offer you a booklet with all the information you need. (no charge)
FIESTAS & EVENTS
Fiestas and events take place regularly in the mountain villages of our valley at the Rio Hurtado. You may join Carrera Chilena (horseracing), rodeos and colorful religious celebrations. Celebrating, music and dance, or betting at horseracings: in spite of their hard life in the mountains the Chileans know how to celebrate.
