2 Tours „Hacienda Cocktail“: 4 days - 3 nights
Enjoy unforgettable days at our colonial style estate. Conquer a unique paradise. Discover wildly romantic beaches along the river, pick exotic fruit from the fruit trees, or relax in the shade of the olive grove. Standing under a tall palm tree, you have a very special view of the valley and the mountains. The clear mountain air allows faraway views.
The Hacienda cooking style assures culinary delights. Our cook Luis uses only fresh and untreated ingredients. After dinner in front of the fireplace, we will sit by the silken light of the moon in the garden enjoying a glass of Chilean red wine and end this day with interesting stories. This very romantic part of the country holds a lot of exciting stories!
We offer various adventure or leisure trips which you may join spontaneously and as it suits you best. The untouched mountainous landscape of the Andes can be explored by foot, with an offroad vehicle or on the back of our safe and good-natured Chilean mountain horses. Hidden villages in the Andes await exploration. Get to know the country and its people!
Day 1:
Transfer from Ovalle or Vicuña, La Serena with additional costs possible. The trip through the rough mountains takes you about two hours. At the Hacienda you can enjoy romantic places next to the river, you can pick and eat the fruits or you will relax in a hammock.
In our kitchen we only use natural and fresh food. After dinner we sit on the terrace, watching the stars while drinking a glass of Chilean wine and finishing the first day.
Day 2 & 3:
Every day, you can choose one of the following trips:
Fossilized woods of Pichasca/San Pedro:
Day trip to the fossilized woods of Pichasca. Visiting a village, vineyards, pure nature and people.
4X4 - Trip to Maiten in the Andes:
Day trip into the high Andes with the four-wheel drive vehicle. Visiting mountain villages, weavers and hermitages. Passing wild mountain landscapes, across plateaus to remote places. (please check availability)
Horseback riding tour
Ride with us into the wild mountain landscape of the Andes. Non-riders and riders get to know the untouched mountain landscape of the Andes. Conquer the Sierra of the Andes in a comfortable Gaucho-saddle. The clear mountain air allows views of more than 250 kilometers. Choose under “Horseback riding tours” a one day horseback riding tour.
Horseback riding tour in combination with an observatory tour
Divide your day: In the morning you will go on a horseback riding tour in the upper Andes with our chilean Criollos and discover our galaxy and further planets on a professional guided tour in our private observatory in the night.
Visit the Vinayard Tabali
We will visit the exclusive vinery Tabali, which is located next to the famous Valle del Encanto / Ovalle - a magic place where history and culture Molle and Diaguita joined together. The final degustation will convince you of the special Tabali wine taste.
Day 4:
There is a lot of time today to continue your exploration of our little paradise. Swimming, sunbathing, hiking or just relaxing.
Who wants to join another adventure can book a 4 by 4 Tour with our pick up or another horseback riding tour. (costs are not included in the program)

- 3 overnight stays in standard rooms or suites at the Hacienda including breakfast and dinner, not the drinks
- Equipment for riding explorations: comfortable Gaucho-saddle with sheep-fur padding, sleeping bag and clean inlet, thermal mat, tent, personal pannier (cup etc.), ice-box, thermo bottle, by request safety helmet, sombrero head and riding gaiters, first aid kit, saddle bags and finally one of our well trained and calm Chilean mountain horses
